File: 25-109899 (SP)
Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating an early morning shooting at a Surrey business.
At approximately 3:30 am on December 11, 2025, suspect(s) attended a business in the area of 82 Avenue and 124 Street, Surrey. Once on scene, a suspect fired multiple shots at the business and then fled the area in a dark coloured vehicle. Nobody was in the business at the time of the shooting and there were no injuries as a result. This is the second time that the business has been targeted in a shooting.
At approximately 7:45 am, an employee of the business arrived on scene and observed the damage. SPS was subsequently contacted and officers attended.
SPS Organized Crime Unit (OCU) has taken conduct of the investigation. The investigation is in its early stages and investigators will be continuing to gather evidence related to the shots fired, including liaising with police partners to determine if there are any links to other files. At this time, the incident is believed to be related to the ongoing series of extortions in Surrey.
Anyone with information about this incident, including CCTV or dashcam footage, or who may know the identities of the suspects is asked to contact SPS’ non-emergency line at 604-599-0502, the Surrey Extortion Tip Line at 236-485-5149, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or www.solvecrime.ca and quote file number 25-109899 (SP).
