Police Investigate Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle

RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) is investigating a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in south Surrey that resulted in the pedestrian being taken to hospital in serious, but not life-threatening, condition.
Shortly after 2:00 pm on July 2, 2025, SPOSU officers responded to a report of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian at the intersection of 24 Avenue and 152 Street. Officers arrived to find that an adult male pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. The man was transported to hospital by BCEHS in serious, but not life-threatening, condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The cause of the collision remains under investigation, but impairment is not believed to be a contributing factor.
Motorists are advised that the intersection of 24 Avenue and 152 Street will be closed due to the collision while officers investigate.
