Police Investigating Homicide in Surrey

On June 26, 2025, at approximately 7:40 pm, Surrey Police Service (SPS) Frontline officers responded to calls of a shooting near the 10800 block of 129 Street, Surrey.
SPS officers attended the area and located a male suffering from life-threatening injuries. Despite life saving measures, one man succumbed to his injuries at scene.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has now taken conduct of this investigation. This is Surrey’s fourth homicide of 2025.
The investigation is in the early stages and IHIT is working in partnership with Surrey Police Service officers to complete priority tasks.
While the motive is still under investigation, the incident does not appear to be random in nature.
