File: 26-73430

Surrey Police Service (SPS) is investigating an early morning incident that resulted in damage to nine vehicles in a Newton neighbourhood.

On Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at approximately 5:00 am, police were called to the area of 75 Avenue and 147A Street regarding an in-progress mischief, where two suspects were observed breaking windows of vehicles that were parked near the roadway. Several SPS units responded to the area, but the suspects fled prior to police arrival. In total, nine vehicles sustained glass damage to front, rear, and side windows.

SPS investigators have obtained CCTV footage and are hoping that the release of still images will assist in the identification of the suspects (see attached images).

The suspects appear to be males with slim builds, wearing dark clothing, and using clubs or bats to damage the vehicles.

Anyone who recognizes these suspects or has information concerning this incident, including dashcam footage, is asked to please call Surrey Police Service at 604-599-0502 and quote file 26-73430 (SP).
