Suspect Sought Following Bank Robbery

Surrey Police Service (SPS) Frontline officers are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on August 8, 2025, and are appealing to the public for assistance with identifying the suspect.
On August 8, 2025, at approximately 9:45 a.m., SPS Frontline officers responded to a report of a bank robbery that occurred at a bank located in the 13700 block George Junction, Surrey. It was reported that a male suspect entered the bank, approached a customer service representative, and demanded money. The suspect left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen on foot crossing Whalley Boulevard at Fraser Highway. SPS officers responded to the area; however, the suspect was not located despite extensive patrols.
The suspect is described as a heavy-set Indigenous man wearing a grey hoodie, white pants, black shoes, sunglasses, and had a short beard. (See attached photo)
